NARAL (Originally the National Association for the Repeal of Abortion Laws) is fighting back against pregnancy crisis clinics for deceptive advertising.
"Anti-choice crisis pregnancy centers (CPCs) will do whatever it takes to stop women from accessing abortion. Many CPCs harass, humiliate, and scare women." We certainly know this to be true.
NARAL is trying to stop them from advertising in the YellowPages and SuperPages under the heading abortion services
NARAL is asking people to send letters via their website to participate in this campaign.
I will be supporting this campaign to limit access to pregnancy crisis centers, and invite you to as well.
As we know PCC are not only anti-abortion, but very PRO-adoption and often get women into situations they have difficulty getting out of. In the fight between the pro-life and pro-choicers, it is extremely disheartening that parenting is too often an ignored and unsupported option, pitting women betweenthe devil and the deep blue sea.

This seems a simple thing. Crisis pregnancy centers that do not provide abortion services should not be listed under abortion services. Are electricians listed under "plumbers"? Why not have a special listing for non-abortion crisis pregnancy centers? Then everyone would know what they are getting if they are listed as such.
